Sail Rock

Things to see at Sail Rock: The ‘Chimney’, Giant groupers, schools of Trevally, schools of Yellowtail Barracuda, Giant moray eels, Whale shark, Batfish, Fusiliers and the secret pinnacle.

Of all the dive sites around Koh Tao, Sail Rock is the best in the Gulf of Thailand. For most dive schools it takes over one and a half hour to get there, but with our speedboats we are much faster.

This site offers so much to divers, that it is definitely a must-see for Scuba divers! It’s a huge rock pinnacle that rises from the seabed all the way to and above the surface.

Sail Rock is a heaven for fish with huge amounts of fish everywhere. It also has a “Chimney”, a swim trough that has entrances at 5 meters, 12 meters and 20 meters.

Usually we do a 'double dive' at this site, because there is enough to see at this big dive site. Next to the pinnacle is a separate smaller pinnacle, called 'the secret pinnacle', which is also definitely worth a visit.

The dive site is suited for any type of diver and at every level there is enough to see, to make this dive an impressive one
